              REMOVAL AND TRAVEL EXPENSE AGREEMENT
             UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SANTA BARBARA
                                
                                
  We welcome you as a new member to the staff of the University of
  California, Santa Barbara.
  
  In accordance with University policy,      % of your removal and travel
  expenses from your current address to your new home in Santa Barbara or
  the adjacent area will be paid by the University. However, if you
  voluntarily terminate your University employment before twenty-four (24)
  months of continuous service, a portion of the expenses reimbursed by the
  University must be returned in accordance with the following schedule:
  
  Prior to                 Proportion to be returned
  
  12 months of service     Two-thirds University share of removal
                           and travel expense
  
  24 months of service     One-third University share of removal
                           and travel expense
  
  
  I understand that should I voluntarily terminate my employment with the
  University Of California prior to the length of service noted above, I
  will return to the University the required Portion of travel expenses as
